How to connect JIRA to Power BI when using SSO?

Seif Eddine Mouelhi February 14, 2019

Hi all,

We are using our Office 365 AD to login to JIRA. Our O365 suit has PowerBI. We want to connect PowerBI to JIRA, and I assumed that I should select Windows authentication type since it's the one we are using to login to JIRA, but I have an error thrown (see attached)

Is there anything I need to do to get our JIRA Cloud accessed by PowerBI?

Thanks

Hi

Same issue on this side. Did you manage to resolve it?

Cheers

We used the token API to get it done. Here is the link:

Hi Seif - are you using SSO to login to JIRA? If you are using SSO, could you share your journey on how you got to the page to create API tokens. I currently get stuck on the login page. It looks like it is using forms-based authentication and not SSO.

@VJ Nair the link above works for us with SSO.
