How to configure gogs to use jira as external issue tracking

You'll need to explain "gogs" in a bit more detail.

But I think:

  • that you need "alphanumeric" in the last field in your screenshot, 
  • I'd suggest that the "external issue tracker url" may be wrong, I suspect it should be the base url, not a specific project link.
  • The url format for a Jira issue is usually <base url>/browse/<issue>


We have git intranet server (company wide) using gogs. It has its own issue tracking system. I want to integrate it with jira.

I configured : External Issue Tracker URL Format as:

but issue assignment, git version commit, etc, seem to have issues.

Same answer really - you need to understand what Gogs expects and needs from you in order to configure it.  We can't tell you a lot more than what I've said until you explain more about what you're looking for and what it needs.
