Hello,

I created a testplan in TMX, which has multiple executions in it already. The testplan consists of around 400 testcases and I want to change the title (summary) of nearly all of them. How can I do this besides manually selecting each testcase and changing the title by hand. Bulk change does not work as it is no editable field.

I don't know exactly what is the purpose of your request; if you can elaborate why you need that, it would be helpful to get some additional context.

Nevertheless, the way I think you can do it would be to:

  1. export the Test issues to CSV, making sure you have the Test issue summary and the Test issue key as columns on the CSV, as detailed here
  2. edit that CSV in Excel, Google Spreadsheets or similar
  3. import them back using Jira's CSV importer; Jira CSV importer can update existing issues as detailed here

HI @Tony Dienel

Looking at the Xray documentation DC or Cloud. I don't see options to do this, not even via the API.

The best suggestion I can give is to reach out the the developer of Xray and ask if thisi is possible.

If so or no, could you please provide their response here?
