How to change an email address of a user?

A user of both confluence and jira has had his email address changed. It doesn't appear administratively that we can change it. This is impacting his ability to sso in from his email address in google apps.

Suggestions?

Cloud accounts are of three types.  They are managed by

• The user having a Google account where changes to email address are done in Google, not Atlassian Cloud.
• The user having an LDAP/SAML ID provided by your organisation, where changes of email address are down to the admins of the organisation's directory
• The user having an Atlassian ID, which belongs to them, and can only have email addresses changed by the owner.

There's no way to change the account email inside Jira Cloud directly any more, it has to be done by the owner of the account or the external directory.
