How to change a custom field from date time picker to date picker (on demand JIRA)?

Thanks for the answer and the infos.

i didn't find in the technical way to transfrom a date time custoim field to a date custom field.

Could you please tell me if there is a way to fill the new field (date picker) i will have to create with the values of the old field (date time picker) to delete ?

Hi Dalila,

Unfortunately you can not change the custom field type once it has been created. You have to delete the custom field first and recreate a new one with the correct type and same preferences.

Afterwards you can just add the new custom field to all screens to which the old date time picker belonged to.
