I have tried the bulk change option to update the Description field of multiple user stories.

Step 1 - I selected 3 user stories and selected bulk change on right click

Step 2 -  selected operation - edit field value of issues

Step 3 - i could see 3 check boxes for  'Change Description' and i selected them all and provided a new text in them

Step 4 - reviewed and submitted.

Message came that it was updating 24 issues (not sure why? cause i had selected only 2 issues to do this change).

Post completion, description was not updated on those 2 issues. Can you please let me know what exactly happened here and how can i update the Description field of multiple user stories.

Hi @Suman Chakraborty , what screen are you doing this from? Maybe screenshots would help us assist more quickly.

Hi @Suman Chakraborty ,  The default system Description cannot be bulk edited - JRACLOUD-81821.  I am thinking that someone has created three custom fields called "Description". You can confirm this by going to admin > issues > custom fields. I expect your actions edited those custom fields.
