How to Integrate Selenium with Jira?

Currently in our organization we are using 'Jira' as a defect tracking tool and we have 'X-Ray' which is a Test Management tool which is integrated with Jira.

In coming time, we would be using Selenium as Automation Tool. So question is How to integrate Selenium with Jira. How the defects would be logged into Jira and how the results of tests would be displayed in Jira

I've searched for add-ons and documentation related to this integration, but there is nothing specific for Selenium.
There is a documentation about Test Case Management that may help you:

We had a feature request suggesting the integration with Selenium that was closed as "Won't do", but it was a long time ago.
Please, feel free to open a new feature request on https://jira.atlassian.com adding the details about why this integration is important for your environment.
