I have a board that I use for our company collaborations. Once I have received all the content and input all the information etc I move the issue to "closed". After some time these issues disappear and it's difficult to find them again. Is there a way I can stop the issues from being removed after a period of time? I currently have it set to 60 days but this isn't long enough. I'd rather they weren't removed at all.

Hi Tanya

Welcome to community

There was an FR for the same in JWM projects. Please find below
Ability to configure Business board to show issues for more than 14 days and remove issues before 14 days

We can now see  Removed resolved items after with the options of 7,14,30 and 60 days.

Presently there is no further option than 60 days. This limitation is due to the display in issue limit in JWM boards . Please find details here : https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/the-jira-work-management-board-has-a-limit-of-3000-issues-1224769597.html

Workaround As mentioned in the FR but you would have to tweak a bit

  1. Write a JQL query that returns all issues in a project that have been done for more than 60 days e.
  2. Create a shortcut that links to that URL.

Thank You,

Prachi

Hi @Tanya

You are right and @Prachi Bolar is right as well.

Why are these limits here, this because of loading times.

The more items on the board, due to the filter used fro the board the longer the loading takes.

This might have impact on your whole instance.

You could build a dashboard and sow all relevant information there instead of the board where people do their day to day work.
