How do I rename the project NAME? (note that it is NOT project KEY)

Hi Richard,  In Jira Software, to rename the project.   Go into the project settings, then go to details tab and change the name.

Will this have any negative effects? We used to name everything with the year "Client X 2018" and we want to move away from that so I don't need to remake them every year. So if today I remove the 2018 from all of our projects, will this have any negative effects?

Tried above, but the "Name" text field is grayed out.

I'm project lead/administrator , why the name is not accessible?
