How do I move items from the sidebar into the main view in the new issue viewer

As you can see I've moved the field into the "Primary Fields" category, but that doesn't seem to change anything

It's not possible yet to move custom fields from the right panel to any other section in the new issue view.

In fact, the New issue view of JIRA is still a lab feature, so our developers are still gathering customers feedbacks and working to implement new features to it.

That been said, we have created a feature request to implement this functionality:

- New Jira Issues View - Change Text fields (multi-line) Location or resize right-hand side view

Please, vote and watch it to increase its priority and be aware of any updates of our developers on this matter.
