How do I change color in classic jira cloud project?

Viktoria Varzinova December 2, 2019

I saw responses saying to go to Backlog view, but I'm running classic project (not next-gen) and have no backlog view. Automatically assigned colors for epics are for some reason either blue or violet, which doesn't allow to tell apart the linked issues on the board. Is there a way to change epic color in classic jira cloud project?

where are you wanting to see the epic lozenge w/ color? I have only seen the ability to do this in the Backlog view. I would suggest you either 'turn on backlog' in your current board or create an extra board just for this purpose.

Thanks for your response! I can see tickets with assigned to them epics (in different colors) in Kanban board. As I said I'm using classic jira cloud project and I can't turn on backlog feature as it doesn't exist there,  backlog feature exists only in next-gen projects.
