How to capture the “Milestones” of Bigpicture on the Jira Filter/Reports, i.e. if an issue is converted as a milestone in the big picture, we should be able to see it as a milestone on the Jira report/filters.

Hi @mahima_bhat

BigPicture doesn't offer JQL options for this and ootb JQL can't as this convert to milestone is an app feature.

In Jira the the issue stays a task from example.

See this article from BigPicture documentation, Milestone+field to set a label on a BigPicture milestone, then you are abel to JQL based on the label.

Hi @Marc - Devoteam , Thanks for the insights

I had another query if we mark a task as a Milestone on Big Picture can we add a label automatically to those tasks as #milestone?

Hi @mahima_bhat

Stated in the documentation:

  • A task is converted into a milestone -> the #milestone label in Jira is added.
  • A milestone is converted into a regular task -> the #milestone label in Jira is removed.
  • A milestone is converted into a parent task -> the #milestone label in Jira is removed.

I'm not using BigPicture, for more info, reach out to their support.
