Not sure if it can be achieved with JWM. Other options could be using Advanced Roadmaps or an app. There are multiple marketplace apps for capacity planning
https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?hosting=cloud&product=jira&query=capacity
We have also built an app for the same use case.
The app allows to store the capacity for individual users and save as templates. which can be mapped to a sprint to track the allocation and remaining time per user. Do try it out.
Disclaimer : I am part of the team which developed this app
Are you referring to Advanced Roadmaps? As far as I am aware, work management projects don't have any sort of team or team capacity.

"Project types" do not. But you can create advanced roadmap plans with teams tied to them. Each team can have a capacity them.

@Kian Stack Mumo Systems Advanced Roadmaps seems to require Agile process with Sprint set ups. We do not do sprints.
How can I get capacity in the system on non-agile projects?

You do not need to use sprints. You can use Kanban style work management as well.

@Kian Stack Mumo Systems I added a project to a board, but still not able to add capacity of a team. Can you perhaps advise how I go about doing this?

@Anneliese Pretorius, you added a project to a board, or to a roadmap? Roadmaps are located under "Plans" in the upper menu bar of your Jira instance.

I do not have the options to create a "team only" plan. Under Plan - Create Plan, I get this screen.
Under Create Team, I get this:

A shared team will work just as well, you don't need to worry about if it is plan only team or not.
Thanks,
Kian
