How can we give the permission to any user who can only manage the billing management in jira

Hi Community,

I am a Jira admin in my company site. My management wants to assign the billing management permission to only one user who can manage the overall billing process in Jira and other plugins integrated within jira, however that user can not be the site admin.

Kindly suggest the way if it is possible to assign the permission to any user to manage only billing.

I could be wrong about this, but afaik there is no separate "manage billing" permission. The only way to let a user access the billing preview under admin.atlassian.net for your site is by  giving them the org admin role (aka site-admin).

However you can make the user just the primary billing contact: log into your my.atlassian account (https://my.atlassian.com/product) and add this user as billing contact to your cloud license. Then make this user the primary billing contact.

In my.atlassian.com this user can now update the payment details and company address. Also they will see the estimated sum:

But this user will not be able to "manage subscriptions" in admin.atlassian.net >billing >applications. This is only accessible to Org-Admins.

1.Access Atlassian Administration:

Log in to your Jira site as a user with site administration privileges.

2.Navigate to Organization Settings:

Go to "Settings" or "Administration" 
Look for "Billing" or "Organization Settings."

3.Assign Billing Management Permissions:

Within the organization settings, you should find options related to billing and user management.
Locate the option to manage users or billing administrators.
Add the specific user you want to assign billing management permissions to.

4.Verify Permissions:

Ensure that the user has the necessary permissions for billing management without being granted site administration rights.
