How can we add test details directly to a test created via an Epic on Jira Cloud?

When my team is creating Tests via the Add Test button on an Epic, they must complete all of the Test metadata (priority, fix version, assignee, description, etc) from a dialog popup box. But in order to add the test steps, they need to click into the ticket they just created and edit them. The "Test Details" tab of this pop up allows them to select just "Candidate for Automation" and "Automated by" fields.

In Jira on-prem, the user is able to directly complete the test type (Manual, Gherkin, Generic) and add the test steps on the Test Details tab.  On Jira Cloud there is no such thing.  Is there some solution to make this available?

Hi @Alex Boyle ,

currently In Jira cloud, unfortunately you can't as that information is not available on the  Jira issue creation dialog. So you have to create the Test issue first and then add its details on the next screen.
