How can I show the Epic on the Board Card

I have tried to search  for this answer, but no luck!

I am looking to add the epic to the card displayed on the board:

I want to be able to see which epic this ticket / bug relates to at a glace

For ease - We are on a Team-Managed Project

Hi Ian

Are Epics set up in your project? If so,

1) If you open up the ticket, in the ticket view there should be an Add Epic link:

2) In your Backlog view, if you enable the Epics panel (under the Epics menu), then you should be able to drag the ticket to the correct epic.

In both these cases, the Epic will then show up on the board card. I hope that these work for you.

Hi Ian, 

if you can configure your board go to "Board settings" and then "Card layout" and add what you want

If you dont see that option, you must contact your Jira or Board administrator to add it.

FYI your answer does not apply to boards for Team Managed projects, which the poster said they are using.

Ah, thanks for update! Didnt know there is difference in team managed boards
