I've setup a board for a service management project (JSM) and it is currently located under my profile. I'd like to move the board to the service team rather than my own profile, since service management project is not allowed to be selected and moved to (Jira does not support this).
How can I move the board from my profile to another's profile, e.g. the team lead's? I cannot find other's profile as an option to move to.
Hello @Joe Yee Fung
So far I have not found any way to do this, nor have I yet found a change request in Atlassian's public backlog for this feature.
Can the other user see the board? Have you shared it with them (shared the filter, made them an administrator of the board)? I wonder if you do that, if the other user would then be able to change the location of the board to their own profile.

To transfer ownership of a board within a Jira Service Management (JSM) project, access the project's settings and navigate to the "People" section. Assign the desired team lead or user to relevant roles such as "Project Lead." Verify that the board's configuration is not linked to a specific user's filter but instead uses the project's filter. Additionally, ensure that the assigned user has the necessary permissions to manage both the board and the JSM project. Please refer to the latest Jira documentation for any updates or changes in the process.

Thanks for the reply. The above permission setting of the kanban and JSM board have been assigned to the project lead. I am looking for a way to move the kanban to the project lead via 'location', but cannot.
