How can I make my Clone issue work

Im using Jira evaluation version. When I try to clone an issue. It asks me enter clone summary and I select clone sub tasks. Now I press Create but nothing happens. How can resolve this issue?

I have seen something like this before. It turned out that a field that was mandatory for the create transition of the issue had been cleared on the issue I was cloning. For some reason this didn't display anything in the error logs.

Try checking what fields are required to create your issue type and see if any are blank on the issue you are cloning. Fill in the missing data and the clone operation should work.
