How can I export data from on-demand version of JIRA

We are using an on-demand version of JIRA. We have purchased a new license for a hosted version. How can I export the data from the on-demand version so that I can import it to the new hosted version?

Open a support ticket at support.atlassian.com.

If you need assistance, we have assisted in this for a few customers who also have migrated to their own licenses and hosting - so can help you. Especially if involves additional systems beyond just JIRA.

p.s.

For the record, we're also working on migration the other direction : a large import of an external system (Trac) into OnDemand JIRA.
