Runnning jira 4.3, I notice 4.4 is out. Looking in the upgrade recommendations, it says to disable a couple of plugins to have them updated in upgrade process later on. So I disable the plugins. Fast forward a few minutes, I find out that jira 4.4 does not have 32 bit support for linux, so I figure I will keep 4.3 awhile yet.

I go to restart Jira, this is the message I am greeted with -->

The following plugins are required by JIRA, but have not been started:

  • FishEye Plugin (com.atlassian.jirafisheyeplugin)

Is there anyway to enable the plugin manually, or do I really have to reinstall from scratch?

Hi Stephane,

Did you try to enable the plugins in Manage JIRA's plugin?

Could you please link to the instructions that said to disable the plugin? As this is a bundled plugin, it should have been seemlessly upgraded. Thanks.
