Please can I ask, which Jira product are you using? In the Jira business projects (formerly Jira Work Management), there is a view like this one called, 'Timeline', where you can see different issues in a Gantt-type view on a calendar and the links and dependencies between the issues -
For more advanced functionality, of course there are lots of apps, either to integrate with other tools like Microsoft Project or to bring the gantt / planning type processes into Jira. BigPicture and Structure are popular choices for this.
