Recently, we can't delete Issue History because it is used for audit. However, there're another way to do this. You can clone the issue to have the basics and delete the original one. The history in the clone issue will disappear, but these old fields will be retained.

That s very incovinient and wont work for service management, where we are guaranteed customer data. So we have to clone all issues after cleaning them and thereby lose trace of the original. We have to delete history to be GDPR compliant

You cannot delete the history. This is there on the issue so there is a record of everything that has been done.

We clean up GDPR info on issuses af a persiod of time, but the history still shows GDP info :-)
