Hello everyone, I would like to understand how I can delete permanently an epic once I have deleted it from the Roadmap?
I have deleted in the view of the roadmap without any problem. But then when I search for the Epic number, I see that still exists in JIRA inside the Project. Then I change the status to cancelled, but how can I delete it from the project? Is it possible?
Hi @Luz Guerrero , deleting an Epic from the roadmap removes it from the scope of your plan. If you have the Delete issues permission in the permission scheme associated with the project, you can delete the Epic from Jira.
Hello Dave, thanks a lot for your prompt answer. What I have done is this: (1) I have deleted the epic using the "bulk actions button: removed from plan" (See the image attached). (2) Then I found a section in settings inside the advanced roadmap where specifies all the "removed issues" (See the 2nd image attached). And (3) after that I made a query in JIRA and I realized that the issues are still appearing in the project (See the 3er image attached).
Is this the delete option you are mentioning? Or is there another way to delete the issues from the roadmap that let you remove them from the scope of the plan in jira too? Where can I see the "Delete issues permissions" of the project to review if I have it activated?
Thanks a lot for your support.
