How can I deactivate that some tickets disappear after some time?

I have created a board with different columns (to do, in progress, done, backlog, archived). After a certain time, tickets disappear from some of the columns. How can I change this? I would like all tickets to be retained. I've already went through all setting but can't find a way to resolve this problem.

Thanks in advance!

Hello @larissa

Based on the image you provided you are working with a Business (aka Work Management) project. To confirm you can look at the View All Projects page under the Projects menu, find your project in the list, and look at the Type column.

For such projects, issues that are in a green-colored status (i.e. the "Done" status) will be automatically hidden from view when they have been in that status for 2 weeks or longer and have not been updated in any other manner. For this project type that option is not configurable nor can it be disabled. The intention is that issue that are "done" will become clutter on your board and distract from the incomplete issues that need focus, so they are hidden from view after two weeks.

The issues still exist and will be displayed in the List view and in search results. They are just hidden from the board view.

Thank you so much!

Guess it's not possible in my case as it's another type (project, not board - see screenshot). Don't wonder, I'm neither a product manager nor an expert in JIRA ;)Image 26.11.24 at 09.24.jpeg

Hi @larissa and welcome to the community,

If you are working on a company managed project, then you can do that by the board settings:
