How To Create JIRA Tickets from Github Issues?

Tyler Nakamura August 28, 2017

Hello,

I am looking for a way to create a JIRA ticket automatically when a Github issue is created.

Here are some things that I require:

- Not every issue created converts to a JIRA ticket. It should be based on a label or something specific.
- Jira Server 7.x
- Github is actually Github Enterprise (shouldn’t affect much)

Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

There's a Github Actions for this https://github.com/atlassian/gajira

Not sure if you're still looking for this, but how about Zapier? It links a lot of services together... including GitHub and JIRA.

In particular, see https://zapier.com/apps/github/integrations/jira/2412/add-new-github-issues-to-jira-as-new-issues

We are in the final stage of creating such capability as part of Exalate (a solution to synchronise issues between different issuetrackers)

Send a mail to support at exalate dot com with some contact details if you would like to participate in a beta program

Francis, when do you expect the full release for this product and not a beta version?
