During some statuses, I do not want the customer group to see the assignee field or I would like the assignee field to display a different value to the customer group.
When an issue is assigned to a developer, we do not want the customer to see the specific developer's name. Either this field can be hidden during the specific status or the field can display "(Company Name) Internal".
Example:
When the status is OPEN, the customer group can see the assignee field.
When the status is QA TESTING, the customer group should not see the assignee field or "(Company Name) Internal".
You're probably looking at some kind of script (whether in an add on or in an annoucement banner) that hides the custom field by removing it from the DOM.
