There is not an expiration date per se for Jira Cloud Free - as long as you are using it. But if you don't log in for something like a month, you will get an email warning that it will go inactive if you don't log in soon.
But as long as you are using it, you can keep it.

The Free plan of Jira does not have an expiration date. Whether it will be available forever is anyone's guess but at this time there is no plan to discontinue the free plan at a certain moment.
If you would use the Standard or Premium version then those have a trial limitation, Free does not have that (only a feature limitation)

for the Cloud offering, it doesn't have an expiry date nor any cost if you're below 10 users .

If you're trying out the Data Center Offering (On-premise), then there is a 30 days period.
