We have a GitHub Enterprise server on AWS.
We are trying to integrate Jira with GitHub, but the connection keeps failing due to the security group.
We have added the following CIDRs to the security group, but the connection is still not successful.
However, if we open the security group to 'Any', the connection works properly.
Are there any additional IP lists that we need to allow?
Hi @Hoony - Seunghoon Song, and welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Do you have a source that specifically recommended these two CIDR ranges? I'm surprised, because the official JSON formatted list of IP address ranges is indeed considerably larger. Details depend on involved products and integration use cases though, you can learn more in section Outgoing Connections within IP addresses and domains for Atlassian cloud products:
The IP address ranges for Atlassian cloud products and sites mentioned above include both the summary IP ranges used for ingress and egress, as well the more specific ranges used only for egress. We generally recommend using these IP address ranges when you allow our outgoing connections to contact remote networks and servers.
However, if your situation requires a simple list of the IP ranges used by Atlassian only for the purpose of making outgoing connections, you can use this list:
[... CIDR ranges omitted ...]
Good luck!
