×Hello,
I just connected Azure DevOps to Jira Cloud using the Git Integration for Jira Cloud app. All works fine but I can observe a huge delay between when a PR is created within Azure DevOps and the time it appears in Jira dev pannel.
I did not find any option to reduce this callout time in the app parameters. Is there a way to reduce it? I need to wait for about 4 minutes until any commit is shown in the dev pannel.
Thanks.
Hi Antoine,
Thank you for posting this question.
I'm David and I work for GitKraken, the company that supports the Git Integration for Jira commercially.
By default the plugin has an internal timer that is auto-adjusted based on your repository activity. On some occasions, the plugin will set the timer to a high interval not rendering the changes immediately.
If you need to see changes in real time, I recommend to configure "Indexing Triggers". This is a very efficient approach where the repositories notify the plugin when there is a change and in turn, the plugin will reindex the changes. For reference you may look at this page: https://help.gitkraken.com/git-integration-for-jira-cloud/indexing-triggers-gij-cloud/. For specifics on how to create webhook in Azure DevOps, please read this: https://help.gitkraken.com/git-integration-for-jira-cloud/adding-webhooks-for-azure-devops-server-tfs-gij-cloud/
Cheers,
David
Thanks @David Labra Gaona!
Therefore I think I will first wait for the internal timer to calibrate and then set up an indexing trigger if needed later on.
Thanks!

Thank you for the update on this.
Usually "Git Integration for Jira" works, but I recommend you to contact us directly through our support platform if you have very specific questions.
Cheers,
David
