Getting an error message when creating an issue in Jira - "Accessible: Accessible is required."

Hi,

When I try to create an issue in Jira software - Cloud I get the following error message:

"Accessible: Accessible is required."

I am unable to create the issue because of the error and I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this particular error. Has anyone else come across this before?

Hi @Jason Finan,

This error seems to suggest you either have a workflow validator in place that is checking if the Accessible custom field is filled out, or someone set the Accessible field as required in the Field Configuration Scheme behind your project.

On top of that, the field is probably not listed on the create issue screen for the project / issue type you are trying to create. And so you end up being blocked.

You can find all the configuration elements I mentioned from your project settings. Look for and review your project's workflow and issues > fields and issues > screens.
