Hi all
I'm pulling my hair out as I receive emails from my JIRA account but I can't get the email notifications to work in my project when, for example, a new issue is created
I've searched the forums for a few hours, changed all the settings I can find and repeatedly tested however the notifications simply aren't being sent / received
Can anyone help me with this?
Biggest thanks
Rob
Hello @Robert Bell
I see you indicated you are on the Free plan. On the Free plan email notifications are limited to 100 per day, according to the following article. Have you possibly hit that max?

Hi Robert - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Have you checked the Notifications Scheme to see who should be getting the emails when an issue is created?
Also, check your Personal Settings (click on your avatar) to see if the box is check to You make changes to the issue.

Hi John thanks for the response, i can confirm that both those config areas are set correctly.. for the notifications i've stripped the scheme down as part of testing and just entered a single user email but having just re-tested no notifications are received

i've also previously checked all email filters & quarantine to ensure notifications aren't getting blocked by my mail handler

Is there another user that can tag you on a comment to see if you get an email from that? Just to see if it is limited to issue created or emails in general.

Hey John, i've now got emails coming through.. as per your original suggestion the 'you make changes' was initially unchecked. i made this change and re-tested but the email notification took time to arrive, but it has now landed
thanks for your assistance
