Welcome, @Thomas Hutchinson
There is no native Gantt support built into Jira. However, there are a number of Gantt apps available in the Atlassian Marketplace.
My company, ALM Works, makes one of the more popular ones — Structure.Gantt. But there are a few others that you'll undoubtedly want to consider before deciding which is best for you. To the best of my knowledge, none of these adds a Gantt view directly to a Jira Kanban board but you can use a Kanban board to create the work breakdown structure you need for a Gantt chart with our product. Perhaps some of the others, too.
If you do choose to evaluate Structure.Gantt you can reach our support team with any questions you may have via firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hope this helps,
-dave [ALM Works]
