Hello,
we still have an on premise variant of Jira and Confluence and want to migrate to the cloud. What is the feature set we currently have? Is it equal to the standard or premium variant of Atlassian Cloud?

Data Management

Two things.

1. We are using JIRA Premise and we have created new JIRA cloud process, however I am confused on Why Data Premise cannot be transitioned to JIRA Cloud? My understanding is Alassian are working to resolve this and a fix will be implemented in June...but not been communicated what the fix will entail or even if it is the Data solution.

2. Wiki Prem vs Confluence same thing, transition data.

We are getting alot of bottleneck to Data being 96% of issues now.

When designing a toolset, should there not of been a way to upload to the cloud.

Look forward to your response.

As @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- said they have many differences. The first thing you should do is find out if any plug-ins you are using are also available in the cloud versions. If not, figure out if you can live without them. The DC version might be what you need. The cloud relieves you of upgrades of both JIra and whatever database software you are using.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Start by thinking of Server/DC and Cloud as two different sets of software, with (mostly) compatible data, forked from the same place many years ago, and written for the same purposes.

But there's a book you could write on the differences.

Instead of trying to compare features, have a read through the docs for the migration processes and tools, they will give you a better indication of what will change when you move.
