Force Automation to Recognize Outbound Email Settings

I have outbound emails disabled in my UAT instance as we prepare for a Cloud migration. However, automations are still sending out notifications for failures, Send Email actions, etc. Is there any way to force automations to acknowledge that the outbound mail has been disabled and to stop sending emails?

You could ask Atlassian, but I'm not sure if it's possible.
