This is regarding integrating Fisheye (Crucible) and Jira integration. The mapping is done between the projects keys between Jira and Crucible and the repositories from Crucible are shown in Jira and the appropriate project mapping also is done.

Jira also supports directly integrating the SVN repositories and my understanding is that due to this the data gets populated under 'Subversion Commits' tab under the issue.

The doubt here is that, is it needed to administer both for proper integration of Jira and Fisheye.

Simply put - No :)

You do not need the Subversion Plugin, the Fisheye integration gives you all the information that the svn plugin would and more.
