I've tried to create a new instance (site) of JIRA several times since yesterday (Saturday 9/11/2021) and each time the creation process fails.
I'm trying this on macOS (Big Sur) and have tried both Chrome and Firefox and the end result is the same.
Is anyone else facing the same issue?
Hello @Rajeev Singh ,
I took a look at the backend and there are some errors occurring on the site provisioning, and we will need to dig into this a bit further.
I have created an internal request for you so we can take a closer look at why the instance is failing to start up correctly.
Please visit the following support request and one of our cloud support engineers will assist shortly:

Hello @Earl McCutcheon ,
I checked today and discovered that my site is now fully functional! Thank you very much for your support!

I am little bit confused when you say you tried to create a new instance.
For cloud there is nothing you do from your end, Atlassian creates the instance for you, you select your domain that's the only step.
I don't think the operating system is the issue because I am on macOS too.

Hi @Tinker Fadoua ,
Thank you for your support!
Please see my responses below:
> I am little bit confused when you say you tried to create a new instance.
I am trying setup a new JIRA site by navigating to https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/free
1. I typed in an unused site URL (singhhousehold.atlassian.net) and followed the steps to start the creation this new site. The browser informed me that the site is being created and that I will receive an email once it is done. That never occurred and now the site shows as taken.
2. When I navigate to site URL https://singhhousehold.atlassian.net, I see the following error.
3. I see the site active under Licenses (https://my.atlassian.com/product)
However the site is not actually functional.
Additionally there is no way for me to contact support (I suppose since this is a free site).
> Is this your first time trying to use Atlassian?
No. I've been a JIRA user since 2003 and have set it up from scratch at two separate start-ups (incl. my current one).
Many thanks!
Best,
Rajeev Singh

@Rajeev Singh I just tried your website and I am getting the same exact error.
When you scroll down on the page after clicking on Contact Support you should see the following:
Did you try to submit a ticket? I don't think anyone within the community will be able to assist you as this is hosted in Atlassian Cloud.
Let me know if you are unable to submit a ticket and I will tag an Atlassian Engineer.

I did as you suggested (and have tried this previously) in order to get in touch with Support. This is what I see:
There is no way for me to create a support ticket.
I am using Firefox on macOS and so should not be affected by this Chrome / CrowdStrike issue.
It will great if you can forward it to Atlassian Support!
Best,
Rajeev
