Am I able to schedule and export of JIRA data to excel? I can export the data but currently has to be done manually, it would be really useful to be able to schedule the export to a consistent filepath.
Currently the export dataset contains ALL columns, can I limit this to only the columns I want to see? Currently I only have the choice of ALL or selected but I do not know how to amend the selected?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jamie
Better Excel Automation implements this (and othe automation actions)!
Here is a sample rule that generates and saves the Excel file to a parametrized path according to a custom schedule:
Hi Jamie, here is a fairly recent post that you might find useful on the topic. The tricky piece to your question is the automatic/on a schedule.

This doesn't answer my question of how to amend the 'Current Fields' in my export options? Is there a way that I can choose which fields to export opposed to having either the 4 that are already set or everything?

When manually exporting issue in the search issues view there are two options for CSV export: all fields and displayed fields. Create your search filter, set the columns to display the fields you wish to export and choose the export displayed fields option.

Thanks - although I am not seeing the options you mention?
