Hi all,

is there a way NOT to order the items , and to be exported just the way they are arranged in R4J? As far as I've read, the "order by" keyword can only be used together with ASC or DESC (default).

Thank you!

Hello @Alexandra Bock ,

thanks for your question. I´m Bernhard from Ease Solutions, the vendor of R4J.

As I understand your question, you would like to list your issues in standard Jira list view (the issue navigator) of a certain folder by it´s order in this folder. E.g. using a JQL query like

issue in requirementsPath("MyProject/User Stories")

and adding a

ORDER BY <something to order it by the R4J folder structure>

(BTW, if you are using R4J in Jira Cloud the query above look differently)

I need to excuse, we don´t have a solution for this case. You can only see the order inside R4J.

For any further question and ideas, please contact us via our support page.

Best Regards, Bernhard

We have the same issue.  Its very nice to order Requirements within R4J by drag and drop but we actually want to report the requirements using Confluence and here the order is lost.  For the moment we are using a custom field to order the items but this is double work and error prone.  Is there a possibility that this will be added to R4J in the future?
