I will also need the user on this report, is it possible?

Have you looked at the Tempo timesheets plugin?

But what if I only want a report of estimated vs. actual time for a specific sprint (not necessarily the current sprint)?

Hi there, we added this as a dashboard gadget looking at the sprint level. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/estimate-vs-actual-gadget/server/overview

We are looking for a report that can show for a Sprint what is the Original Estimate(Planned), Remaining Estimate (To do left) and Finally Actuals after implementation complete per "sub-task" not a story. Any guidance on that reporting structure will be great appreciated! We would like to give this as a tool for Engineers to learn from their estimates and plan better tasking and estimates with future sprints.

This is what we are planning to view in that report -

Sprint #, TaskID, Task Summary, Assignee, Original Estimate, Remaining Estimate, Actuals

Jira assistant browser extension makes the report generating very trivial.

For me the biggest plus, was the side by side sprint reports, where you can easily compare estimates of all previous sprints vs the current.

@Mary Ann Ladore1

You might want to give a try our new application it offers a new approach of reporting for releases that shall help your organization and teams to analyze teams performance and identify potential improvements.
