Hi.

We are trying to use JIRA & Confluence Cloud in our company.

And we are setting up network policies based on domain name and IP whitelists.

I checked the list of IP addresses and domains for Atlassian Cloud products through the link below.

https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/ip-addresses-and-domains-for-atlassian-cloud-products/

I have two questions.

1. If we only allow 'Atlassian domains' and do not open 'partner domains', will it have a big impact on the product usage? In general, is it recommended to open all 'partner domains'?

2. Is it possible to access it without any problems by opening the firewall only for the domain name and not enforcing the IP address ranges?

Thank you.

Hello @다날

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Question 1 is answered within the documentation you referenced.

Partner domains

Atlassian uses third-party domains and their levels of subdomains for various purposes.

Atlassian products and services may work without access to these domains, however some in-product experiences may be degraded or stop functioning altogether.

I don't have an insight on your Question 2. Your post tags indicate you are using the Free subscription. Is that correct? If you actually use a paid subscription you could open a support case with Atlassian Support directly to get an answer to that question.
