Hello,
as admin, I am trying to rename a scrum board: I go to board configuration and click on the pencil. However, once I validate the new name I have the following error message
and the board name remains finally unchanged.
Does anyone has an idea what I can do? I'd like to not have to create new boards as it does not keep the sprint history.
I have read on some forum that the sprint feature needed to be deactivated, but I don't find where to do it.
Regards
Loic
This is super old, but I will give what advice I can.
The question is, is the error true.
i.e. "does the board not exist Or you do not have permissions to view it"
I would do a project level reindex (instance if you can) and then reperform the same action.
I would also check your permissions, you should have "manage sprints" and edit issues. Make yourself a project admin as needed. I would also check that you are a "Board admin" and ensure your username is specifically on the board admin.
Search and reopen the sprint under the new name. If it does not appear do a project reindex.
For info, I have the same error when I try to add another administrator to the board
