I'm trying to redirect users to the Jira authorization URL to grant access. Using the sample URL below as stated in the documentation I get an error.
Authorization URL (I've replaced placeholder values with real values)
https://auth.atlassian.com/authorize? audience=api.atlassian.com& client_id=YOUR_CLIENT_ID& scope=REQUESTED_SCOPE_ONE%20REQUESTED_SCOPE_TWO& redirect_uri=https://YOUR_APP_CALLBACK_URL& state=YOUR_USER_BOUND_VALUE& response_type=code& prompt=consent
Error

Your URL is not formatted properly and when you click on it or paste it on your browser it becomes a malfunctioned URL. Make sure that there's no newline on the URL string which might be causing the problem.

@Jason Archer what value did you use for the state=YOUR_USER_BOUND_VALUE field?

Thanks
