I'm getting this error every time I try to create a certain issue type (Hotfix):

Couldn't create the issue

May I request you to check the "workflow or Issue type scheme or Custom field configurations". If they are configured correctly, then your first point of contact will your "in-house Jira admin".

I checked workflow, the configuration makes sense, and when we change some issue type to Hotfix it runs with no problem through the Hotfix Workflow. the problem doesn't seem to be here.
This Hotfix issue type is in issue type scheme my project is using.
For Custom field configuration, since all issue types share the same custom fields, I don't think the problem is there.
What exactly should I ask to the Jira adm?
