Hi,

It is possible to configure the view of "issues in epic"?

This is configurable for sub-tasks but I can't see the same option to define the epic view.

I need to add a new field in the view as picture bellow.

Can you help?

The "issues in epic" panel can't be customized as far as I know.

There are Plugins however which can do that, such as Elements Copy & Sync

Here's an old comment with a hack that might work.

Thanks for the recommendation @Leonard Chew !

@Humberto GomesWe actually have a tutorial in our documentation for how to configure the display of issues in epics using Elements Copy & Sync.

To give you an idea of what it could like (granted the image shows sub-tasks), here are three data panels with different fields configured based on the status of the issues. With C&S Datapanels.png

Yesterday during 30 minutes I can't create it, Today with fresh eyes it tooks less than 10 minutes to build the view. Awesome.

Problem: we lost the "+" button to add new childs to Epic.

With no "+" button, the data pannel built was deleted.

Do you have a solution?

Humberto

@Humberto GomesHave you tried this on an Epic that doesn't have any linked issues yet?

The tutorial has you hide the native Jira panel so you aren't seeing the same issues twice in two different panels, but if you hid the native panel before linking any issues to the Epic, the Elements Copy & Sync panel will not show up (because it has nothing to display).

There are a two main options to add issues to your Epic (other than the + button on the original native panel) using the configuration explained in the tutorial:

  • create new issues and link them manually to your Epic (they should show up in the Elements Copy & Sync Data Panel then)
  • Add a Copy & Sync operation to your Data Panel to create issues linked to your Epic

Hope that helps!

"There are a two main options to add issues to your Epic (other than the + button on the original native panel) using the configuration explained in the tutorial:

create new issues and link them manually to your Epic (they should show up in the Elements Copy & Sync Data Panel then)"
- [Humberto] This will not happen

"Add a Copy & Sync operation to your Data Panel to create issues linked to your Epic"
- [Humberto] Added, but not approved by my stakeholders, Rolled back.

My feedback.
Very good app if you need this kind of featues. The basics are easy to learn and apply.
Changes the way that we are using but people don't want to loose anything, just want more funcionalities added. The "+" button is on example of this. We want to see more fields in the view (it was added) but keep the "+" funcionality.
