Epic names different in Roadmap view versus Backlog (Epic panel) view

I've found that when renaming an epic in the Roadmap view, it doesn't auto-update the Epic panel view in the backlog.

Is this a bug, or something that has a work around?Backlog view.pngRoadmap view.png

Hello @Kevin Dickson 

Welcome to the community.

In Company Managed projects, Epics have an Epic Name field and an Epic Summary field.

The Epic Name field is shown in the Epics Panel in the Backlog screen.

The Epic Summary field is shown for the Epic in the Roadmap.

Atlassian is making some changes related to this. Take a look at this article:
