Epic Progress widget has gone missing from our board

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
The Epic Progress widget has gone missing from our board, we use this widget to report on progress and it was instantly noticed in the board meeting this week.
In case I'm not clear as to the widget I'm referring to, when you click the insights button to the right of the Jira board, the insights bar pops up and there was a sprint progress per epic that looked like this.
we've now got this pointless box here where the epic progress bar used to be
clicking the "Learn More" link shows you the epic progress image but it doesn't actually appear on the board.
Is this a current bug in JIRA ?
