I am wondering about the possibility of enforcing to add a reason when updating issues.
Example scenario: Let's say I have an Epic called "Update Python"
A product Manager called John (logged in) and senior dev Jane sit together to update the ticket description. When they hit save, I want to trigger a mandatory text box. In which they will type something like "I worked with Jane to update the estimates provided and also modified to list of features"
So anyone who opens the ticket has some time to read this Changelog and read through the reasons.
First, this could get messy if you want a comment every time a ticket is update. This can't be done out of the box. Frankly, this is what comments are for. I suspect you will need scripting or a plug-in do do this, if it can be done. I suggest you start looking in the marketplace for a plug-in
