Jira/Confluence save user passwords in database,

and I'd like to know that Encryption algorithm used in saving passwords.

( Data center version, Jira 9.4.7, Conf. 7.19.9 LTS )

(ex : SHA-256...)

Can we choose algorithm saving password?

We have some legal problem in saving passwords

we have to use RSA / Hashing, one way encrypting Algorithm

( we use MySQL & Postgre as DB. )

Hi @김명신

Welcome to the community.

This can be done in your Jira DB config file.

See Atlassian documentation on this topic, here. You have multiple options.
