Edit Jira Issue Content in Confluence

Selahattin Tuglu March 20, 2019

Hi everyone,

right now, I am working on a Project for our company, in which I have to create a project in Jira to store customer references in it. These references has to be editable through Confluence and later be exported as a PDF page. Everytime, when you create a new Task in this project the issue content has to be created in a Confluence space or site.

The problem hereby is i can link Confluence with the Jira Issue but couldn't edit the Issue content in Confluence. Is there a way to edit the Issue content in Confluence?

Sorry for my bad english.

Kind Regards

Is anyone aware of a plugin that allows this for cloud? Both options mentioned above only support server and/or data center.

You can add this feature via a plugin.

E. g.:

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1216691/issue-manager-for-confluence?hosting=server&tab=overview

But its only available for selfhosted versions of Confluence.

There might be other plugins.

I'm unaware of a free solution.

There is a feature request on Atlassians jira site you could vote for:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-54854?_ga=2.202395793.1459815747.1553088586-1677861194.1545408500

And I found another plugin:

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1215818/issue-forms-for-confluence?hosting=server&tab=reviews

But its also not free.
