E-Mail Automation attach Jira attachments

If i setup an Automation for Jira where the Attachments from an issue are displayed as a link will the attachment get downloaded or will the jira issue be opened?  And can an external person that doesn´t have an Atlassian Account open the link?

The same issue has been asked before and before.

I can confirm that it is impossible to achieve this with the native functions of the Jira automation.

Some add-ons are suggesting this function: I mean send email with attachments.

I'm not sure if you are open to using third-party apps to solve this problem, however, I'd like to point out that our app is capable of providing attachment files in the notification emails, not just their URLs.

Notification Assistant for Jira - Email allows you to extract the attachments directly to the email, as in the example below:
